Climbing
Lead by Ascent founder Elliott Bernhagen and certified IFMGA climbing guides, we will take your family on a tour of the most spectacular places Mallorca has to offer. While world renown for having the highest quality Deep Water Soloing in the world, its limestone sport climbing has remained relatively secret and is on par with the best in Europe. We will venture from the sea to the mountains, exploring some of the highest quality cliffs of the island. From kayaking around secluded bays to exploring its charming villages, we’ll explore an enchanting side of Mallorca that will stay with you forever.

To start the trip off, we will head to the West Coast of the island where a quiet cliff boasts some of the best vistas of the entire island. With a wide range of climbing grades there are options for everyone.
We will then travel to the historic mountain village of Valldemossa and check in at the Hotel Sa Vall Valldemossa. A short walk through this quaint village will land us at a local favorite restaurant, revered for both its excellent cuisine and ambiance.
Itinerary
Day 1
Day 2
Wake up to a nourishing breakfast at the hotel, then head into the heart of the Tramuntana Mountains for a multi pitch adventure on the islands biggest cliff. We'll start by sampling some of the incredible sport climbing and finish with a perfect multi pitch in 2 different groups. We’ll enjoy an amazing picnic lunch in between and take in the summit views before heading back to Valldemossa.
Spend a relaxing evening back in town wandering the streets and exploring this charming and historic village.
Day 3
Kayak up a hidden coastline with beautiful coves and beaches around every turn. With spectacular Deep Water Soloing to keep everyone engaged between bouts of relaxing kayaking, this day is a blissful mix of exploration and tranquility.
We’ll head to some incredible climbing spots unbeknownst to the public, which our good friend and Mallorcan Local Legend has developed. Mid day we’ll enjoy an amazing lunch on the beach as you marvel at this uninhabited section of coastline.
We’ll continue exploring and enjoying the sea as we make our way toward our pick-up location and head back to the town of Deia. Your luggage will have already been transported to your new hotel and is in place for your arrival. An amazing dinner awaits for the perfect cap to another spectacular day.
Day 4
A relaxing morning gives way to a day of Sport Climbing at an incredible cliff. The flow of island life will have set in and we can enjoy the spectacular climbing here on this perfect limestone band. With tufas and stalactites this is a truly unique cliff in a picturesque setting.
Dinner in our favorite restaurant in Deia, which sits perched on top of a cliff. Theres no better place to share a delicious meal with family as the sunset dazzles the coastline.
Day 5
As the tranquility of life on the island sinks in start your morning out with a refreshing dive into the Mediterranean. Some of the best Deep Water Soloing in the world is minutes from your bedroom. We’ll have a boat waiting for you, the perfect way to explore the endless coastline. Relax on the bow or climb inspiring lines as we cruise past miles of perfect cliffs rising straight out of the sea.
After a day of soaking up the sun and climbing the sea cliffs we’ll drop you back off at the private swim platform in front of your Villa. Once you’ve freshened up we’ll depart for dinner at an amazing local restaurant with fresh cuisine and amazing wine. After such an incredible trip we’ll wish it would never end, but the time has come to say our good bye’s. You’re sure to continue enjoying your time on this island and we are happy to facilitate an easy transition the following day into your next journey.
Hotels and lodging
Spend the first two nights in the charming village of Valldemossa, which in the words of Frederic Chopin is “ The most beautiful place in the world”. Nestled in the mountains of the Island between olive groves and Idilic cliffs, this is an amazing place to recharge from the days activities. The Serra de Tramuntana has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO and is home to many unique cultural sites such as the Carthusian Monastery of Valldemossa, built in 1309 and located just outside the Hotel.
Next we’ll head to the breathtaking town of Deia which truly has to be experienced to be believed. Sitting over the sea Deia is a picturesque town full of history, incredible dining and stunning scenery.
Then travel South to the coastal village of Cala d’Or. Your incredible Villa sits in spectacular position above the sea and is akin to living in a dream. With every amenity at your fingertips you wont believe theres world class climbing right outside your door.

From the lush mediterranean climate, abundant seafood and local agriculture, Mallorquin cuisine encompasses fresh and unique flavors. Enjoy fine dining, impeccable wines, and gourmet desserts on this culinary oasis.
